Rose Festival

My first attempt at exhibiting my artwork outside of an academic setting. This show was supposed to run for the entire month of August, but the venue in which it hung caught fire only a few days after it opened. Miraculously, none of the artworks on display were harmed and a friendly firefighter was able to retrieve all the frames after the building was deemed safe to enter. This naturally presented me with quite a bit of superstitious baggage about displaying my artwork in public for several years.
