Nostalgia Wall

Josephine let me install a large sampling of ephemera from my archives among her own collection of postcards, calendars, and sketches by friends adorning the wall of her kitchen. I brought fliers, comics, casette tape cover art, a series of sketches of Denver musicians that I had somehow parlayed into a college art class assignment, and doodles on index cards or colored post-its created on my breaks from various office jobs over the years. The "nostalgia wall," as we started calling it, really anchored the whole show, grounding the more traditional fine art pieces in the creative territory that inspired them.
