Macca

I knew intellectually that people referred to Paul McCartney as “the cute one” long before I had any real, heartfelt understanding as to why. For years I thought of him as simply the most conventional of a group of more or less equally strange-looking men. Seeing the photograph I refer to in this drawing must have awakened something in me, because I arose one morning from uneasy dreams transformed - like Gregor Samsa - into someone who thinks Paul McCartney is hot. The composition of this drawing appeared in the dreams more or less fully-formed. An interesting and delightful side effect of getting older is the increased capacity to find beauty where I had previously found none.
